CURRENT ROLE��

Mike provides CFO and finance services, bringing unique and cost-effective solutions, customized for each client. He primarily serves public sector organizations, having held positions such as controller, finance director and chief financial officer. Additionally, Mike advises clients in organizational strategy, assists in talent recruitment and development, presents to governing boards and regulatory bodies, and oversees the finance and accounting functions.��

Mike is dedicated to his and others continued learning and as such is involved in both ��è��Ƶ’s growth coordination and talent coordination workgroups.��

EXPERIENCE��

Mike joined ��è��Ƶ in 2009, coming back in 2022, after gaining significant experience as a finance director and budget and accounting manager for local governments, in addition to serving as the director of grants administration for a large private family foundation.��

• Mike is actively involved in a variety of professional organizations including the Michigan Association of County Administrative Officers (MACAO), Michigan Municipal Executives (MME), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Michigan Government Finance Officers Association (MGFOA),�� and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).��
